Spirulina is a freshwater micro algae that is grown far from any pollution on a community farm in Burkina Faso in pure water throughout its growth.
First a focus on the benefits:
- Micro-algae Rich in proteins and iron
- Calcium, Zinc, Magnesium & Phosphorus
- rich in vitamin A (betacarotene)
- rich in many B vitamins
- Contains a lot of fiber.
Through its antioxidant action, it prevents the effects of free radicals on our cells and prevents aging.
Here is a simple recipe:
Fresh herb & spirulina pesto:
- 1 bunch of wild garlic or basil
- 1 bunch of parsley or coriander
- the juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 handfuls of cashew nuts
- 2 tbsp spirulina
- garlic, ginger and fresh turmeric
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
to mix in a robot with an S blade
This plant having active ingredients, it is normal that the assumption is gentle and progressive for your body.
So start with 1 teaspoon for the first 3 days then up to 4 teaspoons depending on your physical activity!
